I’m skeptical of the validity of the MIT results – more than half of the male population lives off-campus in fraternities and ILGs (non-Greek off-campus large-group houses), and their breakdown of MIT results by residence includes only two of about three dozen of these houses. I suspect they performed their survey in on-campus dining halls during dinnertime, when the vast majority of off-campus residents are, well, off-campus.
The 100% figure for level of virginity in Random House is unbelievable; I’d like to know if they had more than two respondents from there.
