Via Reddit. I thought about hotlinking the image, but I decided it was better to just copy it over here… :-)

Wow. I’m a bit flabbergasted that someone could think that Party A can dictate what Party B can do with B’s website. And the sic-my-lawyer-on-you threat was just too much! What a moron. (Who makes their important business website dependent on websites over which you have no direct control? Even if you think you can sue them to do things for you?)

I’m going to assume that was very dry humor on someones part.

    I hope you’re right, Brian.

On the other hand, if it’s legit this business will crash and burn in a spectacular way. Get your popcorn and enjoy the show…

“crash and burn in a spectacular way.”

In the P. J. O’Rourke ‘entire Mexican Air Force crashing into a liquid propane storage facility’ way.

Maybe on a smaller scale, sure.

Smaller than the Mexican Air Force?

    Inconceivable!

On the original Reddit article, is there any indication of what sort of website was hosting the image? If the pix were of products the other website was reselling, they might have a point. Or if the image server was a no-copyright image archive … or .. that’s all I’ve got now.

Obama would make a law protecting people like this from these unfair business practices.
