Picture ugly shoes stomping on your face. Forever.
UPDATE: I have a policy of almost never making substantive changes to posts or comments once I put them up, but chances are that I misidentified one thought-cop for another one here, so I’m redacting a bit of info. Better info here.
National Review links to a thought-police report filled out by a resident dorm advisor at University of Delaware documenting counter-revolutionary thought crimes by a freshman woman.
I’ve taken the liberty of correcting some of the numerous grammatical errors.

This one-on-one was so bad that I had to write [ about it ]…
I told Ms. [Redacted] that … we had a little questionnaire to help her and all the other residents relate to the curriculum… Ms. [Redacted] looked a little uncomfortable with this… When she finished, I asked her what she thought of the overall exercise. Ms. [Redacted] looked really angry and spoke in a strong voice. Ms. [Redacted] stated she thought these questions were really none of our business and that the problems in our society are because we are always shoving diversity down people throats…
Ms. [Redacted] said that people have a legal right to hate other races and / or people that are different then us. Ms. [Redacted] stated that she was not racist but she would stand up for the right of people who are racist to have their belief…
When she left, I read the exercise. This is what it stated:
1) When were you first made aware of your race?
“That is irrelevant to everything. My race is human being.”
2) When did you discover your sexual identity?
“That is none of your damn business”
…
Good for Ms. Redacted in standing up to the intellectual bullies on the University payroll!
Who was the little quisling who’s spying on the inner state of students and trying to use his position of authority to indoctrinate them ?
REDACTED.

That looks like the name at the bottom of the document, definitely, but not the one in the “Worst one-on-one section”… (I’m seeing N????? Po?????). Barillo probably just submitted an ideologically-correct “reflection” on his first one-on-one, which would have been on page 69, not provided.

OK, I think I’ve got your name for you: POULIOT, NOEMIE. Makes more sense that a female student would have a female RA, anyway.

…picture a stylish but still somewhat sensible shoe, stomping on a human face, until next season’s fashions come out.

More “evidence” – Pouliot’s in a building designated RHE, no doubt the “Russell” in the document. Barillo is in building LNE.

I cast a vote for Barillo.

Well, I’m not just pulling the name out of a hat, I rasterized the PDF, applied a gaussian blur to knock the image out of its 1 bit pure black and white, and applied some filters to tone down the now not quite as dark pixels. I couldn’t read the whole last name, but could read the Noemie. Google gave me the rest of it.

I’ll be happy to post a JPG tomorrow, if you’d like to see whether it reads the same to you…

Ms. [Redacted] sounds hot. My kind of lady.

I did similar in The Gimp, both to the redacted text at the top and bottom. I saw “…athan Barillo” in both.
Please post your evidence – I don’t want to slam Barillo if he’s the wrong guy.

Her line about being an opera lover oppressed by the rock loving majority is genius. Gives me some hope for the future of our country

Gender has nothing to do with who your RA is, unless you live in a gender biased residence hall, which I suspect would be anti-conformity because all female or all male exclude the other gender, which is sexism—but that aside, I knew several RAs when I was in school and they were in co-ed dorms, so clearly they had both genders reporting to them.
Also, I bet that in the section “reflection on first one-on-one” the name appears and next to it is the name of the hall he runs. That’s why its longer than just his name. Looks like Nathan Barillo in both cases to me…

When I was in school, the dorm I lived in was co-ed by floor, there were RAs for each floor, and although there were some exceptions (like my floor), the RAs were the same gender as the folks on their floor. Just anecdotal, I realize. Dunno how it’s done in other schools (other than some other colleges I’d visited in the same era), or how it’s done these days.
My fiddling with the PDF in Photoshop says to me that the header on the first page of the PDF, “Reflection on First one on one” applies to Ms. Pouliot, RA in the Russell building, and all the text that follows in the PDF is written by her. At the very bottom of the second page we get another heading, “Reflection on First one on one”, which marks the beginning of Mr. Barillo’s reflections, which are not included. Take a look here.
And now that I take a closer look, I think I may have picked the wrong type to work on – it’s her name at the top of the page, too, and it’s not redacted as well and thus a little easier to read. If anyone is unconvinced by the image I posted, I could take a stab at the other occurrence of her name.

I concur with DFF that it is Noemie Pouliot.
Simply cut and paste the first two appearances of the name into the gimp, set them both to a transparency of ~ 35%, and overlay them. It is pretty easy to get the alignment right.
Noemie Poul… becomes clear.

I love how the socio-political thought crime aspects of this post have been tossed aside in favor of technical wankery on whose name is marked out.
No, really. It’s rather refreshing and nerdly.

Well, a big part of the post was to point the finger at some kid and yell “DOOOUCHEBAAAAAAG!”, and given that, I figured it was important that the finger be pointed at the right kid. That said, given that most kids at school do what they’re told (hardly surprising, I’m sure), so I’m not sure it’s the case that the kid in question is a douchebag so much as the victim of douchebags.
IMO, the program should’ve resulted in firings, if not loss of funding or outright decertification of the entire goddamn university. I’m sure what’s really going on is that the perpetrators of it are just holding meetings to agree on how long they have to wait before they can safely assume the whole thing’s blown over, and then try again.

Wow, sorry for the messed up writing above. I plead cold medicine.
