I’m pretty sure there is a clause in there about regulating interstate commerce.
It may be stupid, but it is pretty obviously within the enumerated powers.

That interstate commerce clause was written to let congress have the power to prevent one state from putting tariffs on another state’s products.
The court have rewritten it to mean the congress can regulate anything, inter and intra state or on private property even when no commerce has occurred.
The law is so f..ked up that the congress can regulate under the interstate commerce clause, a person growing a tomato in their own backyard for their own consumption.

It just occurred to me that your continued references to the failed Obama administration are likely motivated by the same hope.
An interesting concept – one should choose one’s words and phrases so as to reflect one’s desired view of reality (“Internet reality” anyway), leading to a collection of stock phrases repeated verbatim.

I more in favor of making it a day on the town kind of mocking. A public square, stocks and a tomato vendor near by. Take the kids out to lunch, swing by the square so they can “meet” their representative, and then maybe a museum.

It all smells like some Congress-critters got some calls from the networks, demanding that Congress create for them some sure-fire ratings on a few more Saturdays. Is there another explanation available than bribery campaign contributions for this getting on the radar?
