Schumer Plays Up Sotomayor’s Authoritarianism
In his introductory comments at Monday’s hearing on prospective Supreme Court justice Sonia Sotamayor, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) boasted that over the course of her career, the nominee “ruled for the government in 83% of immigration cases, in 92% of criminal cases.” This apparently is a plus.
Schumer is a lash-craving toadie and should be First Up Against The Wall When The Revolution Comes.

TJIC is so kind. Schumer should get the Braveheart treatment. And why wait for a revolution.

“Law and order” is not a coherent or principled judicial philosophy, despite having been sold as such since roughly the Nixon administration.

I really can’t get past the fact that Schumer (1) is considered one of the more prestigious Senators and (2) actually seems the think that judges are supposed to pick a winner based on who’s suing whom instead of based on what the law that Schumer has a hand in creating says.
