    Democracy is built on the theory that stupidity and ignorance are evenly distributed and the dumbass votes on all sides cancel out.

    I fear we know more about statistics now than then.

    Is there any evidence for the superiority of a democracy based only on being an adult citizen verse being a property holder? It seems that things were much better set up at the start of the country.
