My coinage “cone of violence” is getting some traction.

The original quote was ” … and I was surprised when the Sawzall blade flew back at me, because I thought that, even if something went wrong, I was well out of the cone of violence.”

    I like it, but you should have gone with “violence cone”, because that evokes the light cone:

    As it is, “cone of violence” evokes “cone of silence”.
