A black Barrack Obama supporter beats up woman, scratches a ‘B’ into her face ?

I’ve got $10 on it being a staged hoax.

Which is too bad – this sort of silly crap should be reserved for leftists.

    Who said it was an Obama supporter? Maybe it was a Bob Barr supporter. Or someone who is pissed Bush can’t serve another term.

    The “b” is reversed in the picture on the front page of the PPG. I don’t know whether that is a bad photoshop job or the sign that she did it in the mirror. Mugged at 9pm? Puh-lease. This is pittsburgh, not philly.
    That area (if memory serves) is more of a white hoodlum area, rather than a black one. But again, still a very safe area. I used to walk through it on my way home from work. At midnight.
    If she’s looking for a BoFA, then she must be from somewhere else– no BoFA here.
    (I still believe that Trig is Sarah Palin’s grandson)

    Oh, can someone comment on the black eye? The last time I got one, it took all night and all the next day to blacken (friends don’t let friends drink and throw baseballs)

    Yep, she’s not from this area for sure. ‘burgers have better things to do than care about your bumper stickers, and, again, that is NOT the “wrong side” of pittsburgh.
    Unless, of course, she doesn’t like italians.

    When I’ve either received or dealt black eyes (you know, actual guys throwing actual punches, not a girl hitting herself in front of the mirror), it’s a real shiner, not a dainty bruise.

    Nah. My money is that the black eye was secondary to an unrelated mishap; the “b” was self- inflicted.

    I am a Juneauite. My wife is a Family Practice doc who has delivered hundreds of babies. When Palin is in town she uses the same health club as my wife. Andrew Sullivan’s fantasies on this are just fantasies. Unless you believe Palin could fool a very experienced doctor in a locker room, she really was pregnant in the months leading up to Trig’s birth. I emailed this to Sullivan the first time he ran those rumors, but it didn’t slow him down a bit. (And he could easily have googled my last name to check on my wife’s career. )

    Ok. Fine (too horrible and painful to be a hoax)!
    But woman in question with the “b” on her face did in fact later confess she made the whole thing up. (but still denied that she put the “b” on her face)
